Sembangudi houses this supreme Goddess in three forms :

  1. The form - the anthromorphological form as an idol of Shri Anandhavalli, which is the Shri Chakra pradhishtai

  2. Shri Yantra - 2 dimensional Shri Chakram

  3. Shri Mahameru - a three dimensional Shri Chakram

About Mahameru:

Saktha - Worship of Sakthi was developed by various ancient seers with suitable mantra, yantra and tantra and it was popularly known as Srividya worship. In Srividya worship, Goddess Shri Lalitha Tripura Sundari Parapatarika is being worshipped in the form of Shri Chakra or Shri Maha Meru, the dimensional form of the Shri Chakra.

With Shri Anandhavalli's grace, Sathgurunathar Pujya Shree Saktha Chintamani, Sri Anandhavallidasar SHRI EKAMBARANATHA GURUJI has consecrated the Shri Chakra Meru, thereby securing her bounteous grace for devotees, having her Darshan.

Pouranmi navavarna poojai is the unique feature of this temple. With 25 years of Pournami poojai, there came a thought of consecrating Mahameru. With meager funds(INR 7500) and less support, Mahameru was consecrated in the year 1997, masi masam. From then on, Mahameru Utsavam is conducted. The first Mahameru Utsavam is conducted with complete volunteers support and it was a grand success. From then on the Utsavam is always celebrated at grandeur with Volunteers support. From the inception of Mahameru, the temple along with the volunteers is growing manifold.

Shri MahaMeru, a pyramid like structure, with 9 subdivisions called as Nava Avarnam - Thrilokya Mohana Chakram, Sarvasa Paripooraham, Sarva Samchopana, Sarva Sowbagya Dhayakam, Sarvartha Sadaka, Sarva Rakshakara, Sarva Rohaharam, Sarva Siddi Pradam, and Sarvanandamaya. The top most point is called Bindu - Tricona where goddess Goddess Anandhavalli takes her abode along with her consort Lord Shiva. This Maha Meru is a replica of Chintamani Gruha, the celestial abode of Sri Lalitha Maha Tripura Sundari.

Shri Anandhavalli and Yoga :

Flowers, for Shri Anandhavalli, have always been special, lotus, in particular. Wherever she is flowers are seldom away. The classic example of the lotus in the marsh continues to be a powerful reminder of how to be in this world but not of it i.e., the survival of the fittest.

Yogic lore has used flower symbolism extensively. The human spine is linked to be a stem and brain to its flower. For the various chakras in the body, are also described as flowers that blossom when they are activated. Thus, the entire spiritual journey is epitomized as floral symbolization. Hence the entire spiritual process is described as the flowering of the human consciousness, the unfurling of the Sahasrara, the thousand petaled lotus.

Like Lotus, she inspires and stimulates her devotees, wafting into their lives as a gentle fragrance, astonishing them to awake with fresh perspectives of Life. â€‹
